How we handle the information you send us through this website.
Who we are
Zenith Sealants Ltd ("we", "us") is a sealant contractor based in Bristol, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal information submitted through this website.
You can reach us at hello@zenithsealants.co.uk or 0117 000 0000.
What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form we collect the name, email address, telephone number, location and job details you provide. We do not ask for and do not want payment details, identity documents or any special category data through this website.
Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, as part of delivering and securing the site.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and carry out any work you go on to instruct. Where you become a customer, to administer that contract and keep the records we are legally required to keep.
Our lawful basis is your consent when you submit an enquiry, performance of a contract once work is agreed, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and keeping the website secure.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, namely our website host and our email provider, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to completed work are kept for as long as needed for warranty, insurance and tax purposes, generally six years.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Only cookies strictly necessary to serve the site are used. If analytics are added in future, this policy will be updated and consent requested where required.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email us and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The version shown here is the current one.
